1. Learning Unit #9 General Notes

In this Learning Unit we will look at some advanced Blender functions, editing and object mode tools.

  • View the Video Tutorials: Appending Objects, Appending Materials, File Browser/Image Browser, Keyboard Shortcuts Window, Curve Modifier, Lattice Deformation, Bevelling Tool, Hooks, Warp, Mist, Stars, Text Objects and Vertex/Edge/Face Loop Selection.

  • Work through (with your copy of Blender open) the PDF tutorial: Deformation Modeling - Cave. Any files you might need for the PDF tutorials are located in the zip file associated with the tutorial. Right-click on the zip file link and download it to your computer. Open the zip file from there and extract the files.
