1. Learning Objectives

By the end of this session, you will be able to:

• Perform directed geriatric assessment (DGA) covering the physical, neuropsychiatric, and functional evaluations

• Create a problem list based on data from the full DGA (Parts I and II) and identify appropriate target interventions for each entry

• Present DGA findings, problem list, and interview plan to peers and preceptor, as well as lead a discussion about optimizing the care of the elder resident or patient
