| Description: | Several cells types are found in the medulla. The most obvious ones are
the lymphocytes. The other cells inlude reticular epithelial cells,
macrophages etc. The nucleated red blood cells stand out in the blue
background. Notice the mitotic figures. While cell proliferation is
going on here as part of the clonal expansion, cell death (apoptosis)
