Canine thymus, medulla with Hassall's corpuscles
Description:Organ: Thymus, Tissue: Medulla, Species: Dog. Comments: In the medulla of the thymus the cells are further apart. Thus the region stains lighter. Note the thymic (Hassall's) corpuscles. These are characteristic of the medulla.
