Primary Spermatocytes
Description:The primary spermatocytes have moved away from the basal lamina. They undergo the first meiotic division. The prophase is fairly long and the chromosomes are condensed in a characteristic manner. These cells are protected by the blood testis barrier. Semi-thin section. Primary spermatocyte.
