Equine displaced soft palate
Description:This slide shows an endoscopic view of an abnormal equine larynx. The epiglottis is not visible, because is has become displaced beneath the soft palate. The patient would have presented with exercise intolerance, and a cough that frequently produced feed material. Endoscopy allows a rapid, non-invasive diagnosis.
