Normal Percussion Findings in the Horse
Description:This slide shows results of lung percussion in a horse. The clinician has tapped on the thorax moving down each rib space and marked with tape the sight where the sound changed from hollow (indicating aerated lung below the surface) to dull (indicating water-dense tissue beneath the surface). The lung fields shown here are normal for the horse.
