1. 'Theory Think Piece' Assignment
10% of grade.
A short ‘Think Piece’ of around 800-1000 words.The purpose of this assignment is to reflect on any one of the following two questions:
- How does a particular conceptual idea from the literature on bilateral negotiation apply differently when applied to multilateral negotiation? OR
- What are the key differences that makes multilateral negotiation distinct from bilateral negotiation?
This assignment is an exercise in ‘theory building’ and hypothesis generation. Students should use the literature reviewed in class as well as their experience in any class simulations to construct their arguments.
